BLHT prevails on multi-million-dollar Bert Harris private property rights claim. A landowner claimed over four million dollars in damages as a result of a county’s actions restricting the use of the landowner’s property. Following a week-long trial in March of 2021, the court entered judgment in favor of BLHT’s client on all counts. A subsequent appeal was dismissed, with the opposing party contributing $200,000 toward attorney’s fees and costs. Jay Bartlett and Jeff Hinds represented the Firm’s client.
