Daniel K. Taylor joined the firm’s litigation group in January 2022, focusing on complex business disputes in both state and federal courts. Dan has a broad and diverse range of litigation experience, having practiced law in multiple states and practice areas since graduating law school in 2006. Prior to joining Bartlett, Loeb, Hinds & Thompson, Dan was a Partner at a prominent business litigation firm in the Tampa Bay area, where he represented a nationwide fitness chain, a regional furniture retailer, multiple e-commerce retailers, and numerous Florida business entities in a wide variety of legal matters and investigations.
Dan has extensive experience defending businesses against consumer class actions, claims of deceptive and unfair business practices, alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and numerous other state and federal statutory claims; as well as governmental and regulatory investigations. Further, Dan has acted as outside general counsel and routinely advised and counseled businesses on regulatory and day-to-day legal affairs. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at North Central College, where he taught Trial Advocacy and coached the Mock Trial team. Dan began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Chicago area, where he formed a successful criminal and civil litigation firm before relocating to the Tampa area in 2014.
